Have you seen before? Not the kind that dry naturally on the plant. The people who are so fond of preserving flowers are mostly women and artists. Women, most particularly young ones, are those who take some of the flowers they received from someone special and let the flowers dry by inserting them in their books, notebook, or diaries. It may sound corny to you, but it does happen. Another way to preserve your favorite fresh flowers is to air-dry them by hanging them upside down or freeze-dry them.

The reason why certain people like to keep dried flowers is mostly to preserve the memories of a special occasion or someone. Even if carefully dried, flowers are not everlasting. Dried flowers may be less prone to damage than fresh ones, but they are also susceptible and can’t be preserved the way you want it if you don’t give extra effort and time to take good care of them.
