Mystical Flower Bulbs
Growing of various types of flowers is more difficult than what most people consider it to be. Many people opt to grow flowers from flower bulbs since they are easy to grow. One does not require great gardening skills or in depth knowledge to plant and take care of the bulbs until they start to bloom.
Flower bulbs can also be found to be available in the local nurseries where they offer a wide variety of bulbs. The best way to see flower bulbs demonstrate their mystical abilities are to plant them. In a matter of a mere week with just the addition of water and warmth you will find tiny green shoots appearing. These will soon grow into plants unfurling the leaves and stretching their budding stems skyward. Even before you realize it, you will find beautiful blooms with incredible colours that look glorious.
Spring is the favourite season of the year, when it brings great joy with the beautiful assortment of flowers. Spring bulbs are an excellent choice. As spring flowering bulbs grow through the cold months of winter, most varieties of bulbs are not affected by the heat of summer and can withstand tough weather conditions. There are many spring flowering bulbs such as the tulip, narcissus, and hyacinth. In order for the bulbs to develop a strong root system they should be planted well before the ground freezes or frost begins to set in. They should be planted in areas where water drains off well as bulbs will rot standing in water. The soil should be loose and workable but however, does not require special treatment. The bulbs require adequate sunshine of about 6hrs.daily. Most bulbs require a depth of six to eight inches and should be placed in the ground with the pointed end facing up. Spring flowering corms like the ranunculus and anemones are not as strong and withstanding as the larger fleshy bulbs, but look equally beautiful when in flower. The favourite spring flowering bulb is the tulip that looks glorious when in full bloom and makes a great impact in a garden. Tulips come in a wide variety of colours. Daffodils, another flower that is a great favourite among many can really brighten a garden after the dullest of winters. There are various varieties of daffodils and it is not very hard to select one that is perfect for your garden. Daffodil bulbs are resilient and can be left in the ground to multiply. Equally tough are the Dutch iris which are simply beautiful and easy to grow. Flower bulbs are also available at wholesale prices for landscapers, professional gardeners and suppliers, who buy in bulk quantities. There are many distributors who extend wholesale prices to consumers wishing to buy in bulk.
